Valuation Consulting Group was founded on leveraging experience, market connections, and sound judgment to provide reliable and timely real estate valuation and consulting services to our clients. Christopher T. Hansen, MAI
Principal / Partner

Full-time appraiser since 1995. University of Utah alum with a degree in Finance (real estate emphasis). MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute.

 

Chris' area of practice centers on commercial, land development, and recreational property valuations primarily in Summit and Wasatch Counties (Park City) with extensive experience in the recreational resort market appraising ski resorts, golf course, hotel, and resort condominium developments, as well as Historic Main Street commercial and retail properties in Park City. He handles speculative land assignments with extensive experience in the rural Wasatch Back market under strong recreational development trends.

 

Chris currently serves on the Statistics Committee of the Park City Board of Realtors overseeing and interpreting statistical information for the Park City real estate community. He also serves as Hearing Officer, appointed by the Summit County Council, for tax appeal petitions for the Summit County Board of Equalization (BOE). Chris is a qualified expert witness in both federal and district courts.

Research Assistant

Will is a studious research assistant with a knack for gathering details of property characteristics from public sources. His work has him taking on tasks pertaining to a variety of specialty markets. If the information is out there, Will can find it.

Alicia Gerberding
Office Manager

Alicia is the friendly office manager that keeps the office running. She handles accounts payable, receivables, and inventory, as well as organizing company activities. Her detailed organizational skills lead to to efficient operations and her cheerful personality and outlook is a plus.

Jeremie T. Snowder, MAI, AI-GRS
Principal / Partner

As both a University of Utah and BYU alum, Jeremie has both red and blue blood running through his veins (Utah MBA, finance emphasis; BYU Business Management, investment emphasis).

 

Jeremie's strong financial background and 23+ years appraisal experience are key for analysis of investment properties. He holds both the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, providing both valuation and appraisal review services to clients.

 

His primary market extends along the Wasatch Front with appraisal services including but not limited to:

Consultant / Analyst

Andy is a Brigham Young University alum with a degree in Finance (real estate emphasis). He is enthusiastic about real estate appraisal, as well as other real estate projects including investment and development. His background in financial analysis aids in the appraisal of all types of investment, going concern, and development properties. He is particularly skillful in sound demand and supply analysis, even for the "unique ones." 

Aside from real estate, Andy enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Research Assistant

Cara is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is now pursuing a Masters degree at Utah State University. Her organizational skills and attention to detail assists with efficiently collecting market data. She is an expert in knowing where to track down property information whether from counties, cities, and/or government agencies. Her skillset led to the creation of a real estate database  for keeping track of market transactions.
